People have been looking for answers to ease the anxiety caused by the coronavirus, from panic-shopping to finding unproven health claims shared through various platforms on social media. This intervention is aimed to catch people in the moment, encouraging them to stop and think about their purchasing power. Are they buying a particular product because of speculated health claims, because a person in power has told them to? Or are they buying it because it is essential? A small but direct message to spread scientific information instead of misinformation.
